“Currently, domestic enterprises of the dairy industry have formed sufficient stocks of the necessary raw materials and components, including bacterial starter cultures,” the Telegram message says.   

The department clarified that a number of large investment projects are being implemented in Russia to create high-tech production facilities for bacterial starter cultures.  

Earlier, the founder of the AgriVolga holding, Sergey Bachin, spoke in an interview with RBC about the almost complete dependence of the dairy industry in Russia on imports of starter cultures.
