The EP stated that they welcome the decisions of a number of Western countries to provide Kyiv with tanks and insist on "immediate start of crew training."

In addition, the European Parliament urged to consider the possibility of supplying Western combat aircraft and long-range missiles.

Earlier, The New York Times wrote that Western countries could supply F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine via Denmark or the Netherlands.

Before that, American leader Joe Biden said that the United States would not supply Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, commenting on the calls of former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to transfer F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, expressed confidence that nothing would help the failed Ukrainian state.
