Putin: Russia is threatened "again" with "German tanks"

Russian President Vladimir Putin considered, Thursday, that his country is threatened "again" by "German tanks," referring to the Leopard-2 armored vehicles that Berlin pledged to provide Kyiv with to confront the Russian army, which the Kremlin master once again compared to the war against Hitler.

At a ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory over the German army in Stalingrad, Putin said, "This is unbelievable, but true. We are again threatened by German Leopard tanks," stressing at the same time that Russia is capable of "responding" to countries that threaten it.
