Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Akimoto pointed out at the House of Representatives Budget Committee that there is a high possibility that the office building rented by the Liberal Democratic Party branch, which he serves as representative, was built without the necessary permits. "We are checking the facts," he said.

According to Chiba City, the office building rented in the city by the Liberal Democratic Party branch, represented by Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Maritoshi Akimoto, is in the "Urbanization Control Area," which requires permission from the city for construction. It means that there is a high possibility that it was built without getting it.

Regarding this, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Akimoto said at the House of Representatives Budget Committee, "I would like to sincerely apologize for causing concern to many people."

On top of that, ``I am aware that I am currently in the ``Urbanization Control Area''. We are currently confirming the facts with the lessor of the land and building."
