Wetlands, known as the "kidneys of the earth", have the functions of conserving water sources, purifying water quality, maintaining biodiversity, etc., and are closely related to human survival.

February 2 this year is the 27th World Wetlands Day.

Today, on the vast land of our country, a magnificent picture of wetlands with rippling blue waves and graceful water birds is slowly unfolding...

In the land of China, the mountains and rivers are picturesque, and the greenery is colorful.

The lake is clear and the waves are sounding... On the Dianchi Lake in Yunnan, members of the Women's Salvage Team in Xishan District, Kunming City salvaged sundries in the lake.

With their unremitting efforts, Dianchi Lake, the "pearl of the plateau", bloomed with more brilliance.

In Hangzhou Xixi National Wetland Park, the tidal flats around the lake are full of greenery, and the water from the Qiantang River flows through the wetland to purify the water and is clear and clear, sparkling in the sun.

The charming landscape paintings of Xixi Wetland attract tourists to linger.

In the Yellow River Delta in Shandong, the staff designed artificial nests to attract rare and endangered birds such as the oriental white stork to live here.

Today, it has become one of the "six most beautiful wetlands in China", attracting millions of birds to come here to survive the winter and reproduce every year.

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, my country has implemented more than 3,400 wetland protection and restoration projects, adding and restoring more than 800,000 hectares of wetlands.

As we embark on a new journey, more wetlands will be further protected, fully demonstrating the beauty of harmony between Chinese people and nature in the new era.
