He recalled that it all started with the supply of helmets for Ukrainian servicemen, then small arms appeared, and now we are talking about the supply of aircraft.
“Scholz swears that this will never happen, but Scholz is also known for his ability to change his position quite quickly,” Lavrov said.
The Russian minister also focused on the fact that Scholz is not the only representative of the German government.
As an example, he cited the statements of German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock about the war against Russia.
“So he said that NATO would never fight against Russia, and his foreign minister, Mrs. Burbock, said yes, we are already at war, we are all doing it together against Russia,” Lavrov added.
Commenting on the decisions of the German government, Russian Ambassador to Germany Sergei Nechaev said earlier that the conflict in Ukraine is moving to a new level.
According to him, the decision to transfer tanks contradicts the statements of German politicians about the unwillingness of the FRG to be drawn into the conflict.
