Governor Koike is visiting London, the capital of the United Kingdom, from the 1st to the 4th of this month as her fifth overseas business trip this year.

On the 1st, I attended a seminar for local media and travel agencies held by the capital to recover the number of foreign tourists who had greatly decreased due to the impact of the new corona, and gave a greeting.

In this, Governor Koike said, "After three years of fighting against the corona virus, many people from overseas are visiting Tokyo and it is regaining its liveliness. Tokyo has cutting-edge culture and traditions that have continued since the Edo period. It's a wonderful city that coexists," he said, promoting the charm of Tokyo.

After this, Governor Koike held a meeting with executives of the operating company, based on the fact that an experience facility for the movie "Harry Potter" set in England will open this summer on the site of the closed "Toshimaen". We confirmed that we will work together to make it a new tourist attraction in Tokyo.

After the series of events, Governor Koike told reporters, "I felt that there was a high level of interest in Tokyo in terms of tourism. I would like to promote a safe, secure, and delicious Tokyo. I look forward to it," he said.
