China News Service, February 1 (Xinhua) According to Reuters, on January 31 local time, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba said that Ukraine will receive more than 120 tanks from Western countries in the first wave of delivery.

According to reports, in the online briefing that day, Kuleba said, "The 12 members of the Tank Alliance will provide Ukraine with 120 to 140 Western-type tanks in the first wave of donations."

Kuleba said that these tanks will include main battle tanks such as the German "Leopard 2" and the American M1 "Abrams".

At the same time, Ukraine also "really counts" on the supply of "Leclerc" tanks to be negotiated with France.

But Kuleba did not give a timetable for the delivery of the tanks, nor how long the relevant training would take.

On January 25, 2022, at Boryspil Airport in Kyiv, Ukraine, workers are unloading military aid materials provided by the United States to Ukraine.

Kuleba also said that Kyiv is working hard to get more countries to provide more tanks at critical moments.

"...we remain committed to expanding the membership of the Tank Alliance and increasing the military assistance contributions of those partner nations that have already committed," Kuleba said.

Kuleba revealed that Ukraine also plans to launch a "large-scale counterattack" against Russia after the arrival of military equipment provided by the West in Ukraine.

In addition to tanks, Ukraine has recently repeatedly called on Western countries to provide long-range missiles and fighter jets.

But British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's spokesman said on January 31 that Britain did not think it would be practical to send fighter jets to Ukraine.

"The UK's fighter jets are very complex and take months to learn how to fly. We do not think it is practical to send them into Ukraine," the spokesman said.

Polish Deputy Defense Minister Wojciech Skulkiewicz also stated on the same day that Poland did not participate in the negotiations on the delivery of US-made F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.

It is understood that the tanks promised by Western countries such as the United States, Britain and Germany are the main equipment in active service.

However, Singapore's "Lianhe Zaobao" analyzed that without air superiority, how the Ukrainian army can provide fuel transportation support for large-scale armored clusters and maintain these advanced main battle tanks of different models from the three countries is a problem.
