This was announced by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

“The government partially compensates regions with low budget security for such expenses, for which about 2.5 billion rubles will be allocated this year,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Mishustin specified that 54 subjects of Russia would receive the funds.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that the overall level of gasification in Russia had reached 73% by the end of 2022.
