“The head of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Marketa Pekarova-Adamova, together with a delegation, will visit Taiwan at the end of March,” RIA Novosti quotes him.
He specified that the delegation will include Czech entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of the scientific and teaching spheres.
The previously elected President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, expressed his desire to strengthen ties with Taiwan and his readiness to meet with the head of the Taiwanese administration, Tsai Ing-wen.
At the same time, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala stated that the Czech side allegedly respects the principle of one China.
