This was reported to TASS in the press service of the university.

Thus, the university commented on the data that appeared on the Internet and in the media that a student of the Russian State Humanitarian University defended a diploma written by ChatGPT.

“The situation that has arisen has actualized the need to quickly solve problems related to the development of tools for recognizing the use of neural networks in the preparation of written works,” the press service noted.

The RSUH noted that they consider it appropriate to “limit access to ChatGPT in educational organizations”, as this not only negatively affects learning, but also raises questions about “the security and accuracy of the content generated by the system.”

Earlier it was reported that a Moscow undergraduate student wrote a diploma in a day using the ChatGPT neural network.

On Twitter, he described in detail the process of creating the work, from the introduction to the revisions of the not-so-coherent AI text.
