Chief Cabinet Secretary Matsuno announced at a press conference in the morning that Philippine President Marcos, who took office in June last year, will visit Japan from the 8th to the 12th.



During his stay, he is scheduled to hold a meeting with Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress and a summit meeting with Prime Minister Kishida.



At the summit meeting with Prime Minister Kishida, it is expected that opinions will be exchanged on how cooperation should be with China in mind, which is strengthening its moves to advance into the East China Sea and the South China Sea.
