The Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, Apollinaire Joachim Kyelem de Tambela went to Bamako on Wednesday February 1st.
He carried a message from the President of the Transition of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, to his Malian counterpart, Colonel Assimi Goïta.
An opportunity to strengthen relations between the two countries.

Whether at the airport, at the Primature, or at the presidential palace in Bamako, the red carpet was rolled out to the Prime Minister of Burkina Faso.
Apollinaire Joachim Kyelem de Tambela, frail in appearance like his Malian counterpart Choguel Maïga, did not hide his joy at treading Malian soil.
He delivered to the President of the Malian Transition, Colonel Assimi Goïta, a personal message from Captain Ibrahim Traoré, head of the ruling junta in Ouagadougou.
The latter himself recently paid a friendly visit to the Malian capital.

During his stay, the head of government of Burkina Faso also spoke of strengthening the security system between the two neighboring countries in the context of the fight against terrorism.
Details were not released to the press.
According to our information, the two parties also discussed the partnership with Russia in the fight against terrorism.
The Malian side explained to its host that insecurity has receded on the ground since the arrival of the Russian partner, instructors according to Bamako, mercenaries according to countries like France and the United States.
The explanations of the Malian side may have given ideas to the Prime Minister of Burkina Faso.
