The Speed Center for Vehicle Inspection and Registration in Ajman has launched the "Check and Go" service, which allows the customer to check the vehicle by self-driving the vehicle during the inspection and departure process without the need to deal with the service employee to pay the fees and receive the examination certificate, to be the first center in the country to apply this mechanism since In 2020.
This comes within the framework of the Transport Authority's keenness to develop and provide high-quality services that meet the requirements of the public, to ensure business continuity, and to implement the highest standards of government service delivery.
The Director General of the Ajman Transport Authority, Omar Muhammad Lootah, affirmed that the authority is keen to upgrade the services of the Speed Center and move it to a stage in which digital transformation is relied upon to improve the government work tool and provide services at a high level of quality and excellence, in accordance with the strategy adopted by the Ajman government.
Lootah added: “This service is characterized by the fact that it allows the customer to drive the vehicle during the inspection process, and once the examiner completes all stages and procedures of vehicle inspection, the customer can set off and leave the inspection lane without the need to wait for the payment of the examination fees, as the customer receives a text message stating the completion of the examination and the payment link.” Once the payment process is completed, the digital examination certificate will be received.
And he continued that the authority provides freedom of choice to the customer in the event of a desire to pay the examination value at the same moment, through the presence of the service employee who receives the examination fees through several available options (payment by bank card or cash payment), and delivers the examination certificate without the need for the customer to leave The vehicle, noting that the self-driving service during the vehicle inspection and the digital payment service for the examination value, which was applied for the first time at the state level at the Speed Center.
