Influenza, winter sickness, and colds that replace each other.

This is what February has often looked like for parents of young children.

The month is known to many as Vabruari, when most parents stay at home and take care of their children, babbling.

But in recent years, the pattern has changed.

Last year, the number of whales was at its highest in December.

At the end of the year, many children were affected by the RS virus, and this may mean that fewer will be affected in the spring, according to pediatrician Tobias Alfvén.

- Hopefully we won't get as much RS virus again.

It is very much less now than it was in November and December.

Not only the RS virus has decreased.

Influenza and covid-19 also affect fewer people now than before the turn of the year.

At the same time, there are many other infectious diseases, and according to Tobias Alfvén, February can still be a month with a lot of infections.

- We must still be careful, and not say that it is already over.

What do you need to know if the child gets sick, what should you do to avoid infection, and can you leave a coughing child at preschool?

Watch pediatrician Tobias Alfvén answer the viewers' questions in the video clip.
