US Secretary of State Brinken met with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and agreed to oppose Iran's nuclear possession, but there was a difference in positions over Russia, which is strengthening military ties with Iran.

US Secretary of State Brinken, who is visiting the Middle East, held a joint press conference after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in Jerusalem on the 30th.

In this, it was revealed that the two countries were in agreement on the position of opposing Iran's possession of nuclear weapons.

Regarding the situation in Ukraine, Secretary Brinken said, "Iran has provided Russia with drones to kill innocent Ukrainian citizens, and Russia has also provided Iran with high-performance weapons." He criticized Russia for strengthening ties with the United States.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Netanyahu did not mention his country's ties to Iran and Russia, which are at odds with it.

Since Israel has an important relationship with Russia for its own security, it has not provided military support such as lethal weapons to Ukraine.
