This spring, SVT's Uppdrag investigation revealed how representatives of Shia Muslim congregations around Sweden conduct so-called "marriage of pleasure", that is, fixed-term marriages for payment where the purpose is sex.

The survey showed that the association Al Rassol Kulturförening in Karlskrona was one of those who said yes to the arrangement - where a representative that SVT spoke to at the time said he was positive about "marriage of pleasure".

The representative of the Karlskrona Association has now been forced to leave his post after the disclosure.

- All the people who were involved were excluded.

We are currently following up to make sure that the associations themselves really follow this.

We provide education and courses for boards and imams.

It is a lot about basic values in society, women's views and how to respond to vulnerable women when they call our congregations, says Haider Ibrahim, chairman of the Islamic Shia Association in Sweden, to SVT Nyheter Blekinge.

Also investigated several member associations

In addition to Al Rassol, the Islamic Shia communities also have two other Blekinge associations as members.

It is about another one in Karlskrona and one in Karlshamn.

These were also investigated after the disclosure in SVT.

- We have had discussions and talked further with the associations that exist in Blekinge.

We have not discovered more than what Mission Review has shown.

But of course it is important that we continue to keep our eyes open to what is happening in our congregations.

In connection with SVT's disclosure last spring, the cultural and leisure board stopped further local grants to Al Rassol.

SVT has sought a representative for Al Rassol in Karlskrona.
