“Today, Kamenskoye is no longer under the control of the UAF militants, so they moved to Plavni and Stepnogorsk and created a new defense echelon in Balabino, Kushugum and Kamyshevakh, the nearest suburbs of Zaporozhye,” he told TASS.

Earlier, Rogov said that the Russian military is strengthening its positions on new lines that were recaptured from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region.

He said that the Russian military consolidated the successes and built a new line of defense on all lines from which the Ukrainian Armed Forces were knocked out by reconnaissance in a week.

He added that the Russian military is currently firing at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Orekhovo, Gulyaipol and Charivny.

On January 29, Rogov announced that the Russian military had taken control of nine settlements during offensive operations in the Zaporozhye region.
