The level of their happiness was rated as a solid five by 14% of the respondents in Russia.
23% of them noted that they live in Moscow.
Another 18% of respondents indicated that they live in St. Petersburg, and 16% - in Novosibirsk.
10% of happy people marked Nizhny Novgorod or Tyumen.
A quarter of Russians (25%) said they were four points happy.
Of these, 20% also live in the capital, 19% in Sochi, and 17% in St. Petersburg.
The top five also includes Yekaterinburg (11%) and Novosibirsk (9%).
The average level of happiness (three points) was noted by 31% of the study participants.
Every fifth of them (19%) lives in Moscow.
Another 13% indicated that they live in Nizhny Novgorod, and 9% - in St. Petersburg.
8% said they lived in Krasnodar, and 4% - in Tyumen.
More than 5,000 users of the service from all regions of Russia took part in the study of the Rabota.ru service.
In September, a survey showed that every fifth Russian considers himself an absolutely happy person.
