Investigators opened a case into the death of five people in the Sverdlovsk region

“The Nizhneserginsky Interdistrict Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art.

109 of the Criminal Code of Russia (causing death by negligence to two or more persons),” the statement says.

According to the investigation, on the evening of January 31, the law enforcement agencies of the Nizhneserginsky municipal district received a message that the bodies of five people with no signs of life were found in a private residential building on Krupskaya Street in the village of Druzhinino. 

Earlier it was reported that five people died from carbon monoxide poisoning in the Sverdlovsk region.
