More than a hundred passengers had to be

evacuated this Monday from a train at the Alcolea de Córdoba

capital interchange due to a fire that affected the roof of a carriage, sources from the 112 Emergency Service have informed Europa Press. Andalusia.

Telephone 112 received a notice from Adif at 7:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon warning of this fire that

has caused five injuries who have required assistance

.

Specifically,

the health services have treated five people: two men aged 80 and 40 and three women aged 57, 51 and 40.

Likewise, two of these people, a man and a woman, have been required to be transferred to the Reina Sofía hospital. both 40 years old.

The train covered the Barcelona-Cádiz route

and the fire occurred at the Alcolea interchange, when it was detained at the stop, and 127 people had to be evicted, who are going to be transferred in three buses to their destination.

From the coordinating center, the Fire Department, the National Police, the Local Police and the 061 Health Emergency Center have been immediately activated, which

moved a mobile ICU to the scene.

The Provincial Fire Consortium has gone to the scene to put out the flames and has reported that the fire has already been controlled.
