On Tuesday afternoon, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) invited all the party leaders of the Riksdag parties to a meeting about the security policy situation at a meeting.

The background to the meeting was the threats directed at Sweden after the recent actions in Stockholm.

Magdalena Andersson welcomed Kristersson's invitation.

Before the meeting, however, she pointed out that she sees problems with the Sweden Democrats' role in foreign and security policy.

- While I do everything I can to support the government in this situation, the Sweden Democrats act exactly the opposite and put party political interests before Sweden's, she told SVT.

- It is about the statements that came from SD in the justice committee to organize book fires.

It is not something that promotes Swedish interests.

Åkesson: Not encouraged to burn books

According to Jimmie Åkesson, the chairman of the justice committee - Richard Jomshof (SD) - has not called for such actions.

- Rather, he has said that you have the right to do so.

He thinks it's wrong, especially in this situation, but you have that option if you want - just like you can burn the Bible and Pippi Longstocking.

The SD leader also took the opportunity to point a boot at S.

- If you want to have this debate, I will say what I think, not least about the Social Democrats' connections to the PKK and other organizations with which Turkey has problems, he said.

Kristersson: The high tone fits very badly

During a press conference after the meeting, Ulf Kristersson stressed that it was good that all party leaders came there and that they received the same information, but did not want to go into the conversation itself.

On the other hand, he commented on the argument that took place between S and SD already before the meeting.

- I think that this high tone characterized by ordinary Swedish domestic politics fits very badly in this situation.
