Black smoke rises from the building.

Survivors can also be seen walking through the rubble of collapsed buildings.

An explosion occurred yesterday (30th) at a mosque and mosque in the police station complex in Peshawar, northwestern Pakistan.

At that time, 300 to 400 people were praying in the mosque, but a gunman in the front row detonated a bomb vest.

More than 90 people have been killed and more than 150 injured so far in the blast.

Many of the casualties were said to be police officers.

[Kawar Muhammad/Rescue Team: When I came to the scene immediately after the explosion, it was chaos.

I rescued 7 people and put them in an ambulance.]

In addition, there are many seriously injured and buried people, so the number of deaths continues to rise.

[Haji Shahnawaz/Eyewitness: The dead are surely under the rubble.] The

place where the mosque is located is known as the best security area in Peshawar, but the terrorist behind it is still unclear.

Immediately after the terrorist attack, the extremist rebel force, the Pakistani Taliban, claimed to be behind it through social media, but denied it again in 10 hours.

They say they don't attack religious places like mosques.

The Pakistani Taliban, a separate organization from the Afghan Taliban, has been stepping up its terrorist offensive after ending a ceasefire with the government in November last year.

In Pakistan, terrorism led by various rebel forces continues, and in this case, attention is focused on the background in that it targeted a heavily guarded police complex.
