Olaf Scholz reiterated that Germany will not allow the war in Ukraine to turn into a conflict between Russia and NATO.

A new Russian offensive is reportedly being prepared for Feb. 24, a year to the day after Russia invaded Ukraine, according to Oleksii Danilov, secretary of Ukraine's Defense and National Security Council.
According to the Institute for the Study of War, Moscow is seeking to “disperse” Ukrainian forces in order to “create the conditions for a decisive offensive operation”.

Olaf Scholz reiterated on Sunday that Germany will not allow the war in Ukraine to turn into a conflict between Russia and NATO.
“We helped ensure that there was no escalation of the conflict, as this would have serious consequences for the whole world.
This would lead, for example, to a war between Russia and the NATO countries, this will not happen, we will prevent it with all our efforts, we have succeeded so far and we will continue to do so”, said the German Chancellor.
