Many people had gathered for prayer at the mosque in the city of Peshawar in northwestern Pakistan.
A spokesperson for the local hospital told Reuters that they received 70 injured people, some of whom are in critical condition.
The area around the mosque, located in the northern part of Peshawar, has been cordoned off.
