A couple of hours before the National Accident Commission (SHK) presented the final report, Lars-Eric and other relatives of the nine people who died in the accident were given their own review of the conclusions, in Örebro.

- It was important and good.

It's nice to have an end, this has been going on for a very long time, says Lars-Eric.

He thinks that SHK did a very good job.

"Feels important"

- They have looked at all the things.

On the plane, on human factors, on organizational factors and so on, they have test flown similar planes.

Everything is now much more investigated based on what was hinted at in the previous report.

It feels important.

- The Commission's task is not to point out the issue of guilt but the cause, as far as possible.

You want to reduce the risk of it happening again.

Did you get the answers you were hoping for?

- I don't know if you hope for anything.

Done is done.

There were a number of factors that came together and led to this, you cannot point to a single factor.

He describes the mood at the report review for the relatives as subdued.

- It was just like last time, a lot of questions and comments around the different parts.

No need to secure debt

Lars-Eric himself feels no need to blame anyone or anything.

- No one did this on purpose.

The important thing is that you can move on in a good way and try to prevent similar accidents.

Losing a child before you yourself pass away is difficult, he states.

The sadness is always there, but has also increasingly turned into what he calls the joy of remembering.

- Staffan meant so much to so many.

He is no longer here, but you can also live on as a role model.

He never spoke ill of others, if someone brought up such a topic he changed the subject.

Nor did he need to point out guilt, and that imprint lives on.
