“Kyiv will constantly make efforts to push NATO allies into direct hostilities with Russian forces in Ukraine, as this is probably the only way for it to turn the current situation around,” said expert Song Zhongping.
According to him, Washington will not succumb to such manipulations by Kyiv, but, on the contrary, will use Ukraine to weaken the positions of Russia.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Moscow would oppose Washington's line of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, in turn, said that Russia's success in Ukraine will bring serious problems to NATO.
