The Spring Festival rose by 22.4 percentage points.

Among them, the third day of the Lunar New Year (January 24) had the highest occupancy rate, reaching 92.1%.

  With the relaxation of anti-epidemic measures for entry, the Tourism Bureau has launched a promotional plan and a number of discounts to attract tourists, striving to expand the source of tourists.

During the Chinese New Year, the government, the industry and non-government organizations presented wonderful and diverse New Year celebrations and activities, attracting a large number of mainland and Hong Kong tourists to visit Macau.

  According to statistics, a total of 451,000 tourists visited Macau during the Spring Festival Golden Week this year, including 265,000 mainland tourists and 165,000 Hong Kong tourists.

The average number of tourists on Golden Sunday was 64,000, a sharp increase of 297.0% compared with the same period last year. Among them, the average daily number of tourists from Hong Kong increased by 2601.8%.

On the third day of the Lunar New Year (January 24), the number of tourists visiting Macau exceeded 90,000, the highest single-day number of visitors since the epidemic.

  According to the information provided by the industry, the average occupancy rate of hotel establishments in Macao during the Spring Festival Golden Week was 85.7%, an increase of 22.4 percentage points compared to last year’s Spring Festival.

Among them, the third day of the Lunar New Year (January 24) had the highest occupancy rate, reaching 92.1%.

The average room price of Macau’s hotel industry establishments (hotels, aparthotels and budget accommodation establishments) during Golden Week is about 1,575 patacas, an increase of nearly 50% compared to last year’s Spring Festival.

  According to reports, in response to the good customer situation during the Spring Festival and the prosperity of various industries, the Tourism Bureau will do a good job in online and offline promotions, including posting promotions on social platforms, live broadcasting events, inviting travel network experts to broadcast live and promotions on its channels, and launching TV channels Advertising, etc.
