It is specified that climate activists in The Hague blocked the A12 highway in protest against the allocation of government subsidies for fossil fuels.
According to police, 768 activists were detained as a result of the protest.
“Of the 768 detainees, two remain in custody,” the police said on Twitter.
Earlier it was reported that activists from the protest environmental group Letzte Generation poured mashed potatoes on a painting by French artist Claude Monet at the Barberini Museum in Potsdam.
