The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that 6 refrigeration trucks were targeted by unknown aircraft in the countryside of the border city of Al-Bukamal, after crossing from Iraq, without being able to identify the party that targeted them.

According to the Observatory, the strikes destroyed the trucks and killed and injured those inside, without specifying the number of victims.

"The trucks were transporting Iranian weapons," Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman told AFP.

He reported the entry of at least two similar convoys this week from Iraq, unloading their cargo in the city of Al-Mayadeen, likely to transfer "advanced weapons" to pro-Tehran groups.
