According to EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, many EU countries support this proposal.

It is noted that the EU legal service will prepare an opinion on the legality of this measure within three weeks.

Earlier, the Luxembourg Foreign Ministry appreciated the idea of ​​declaring the IRGC of the Iranian Armed Forces a terrorist organization in the EU.

It was also reported that Iran announced its intention to recognize the armies of all EU countries as terrorist.
