Baykar chief: F-35 buyers can't use them without US permission

“Look at the countries that are buying F-35s and look at the problems they are facing.

They say they cannot use them on their own without US permission,” Bayraktar was quoted as saying by the Aydınlık newspaper.

Bayraktar noted that high technologies today are "accompanied by fetters."

Earlier it became known that the Dutch F-35 fighters arrived in Poland to patrol the sky as part of the mission of the North Atlantic Alliance.

In December, the US Department of Defense signed a contract with one of the largest defense contractors, Lockheed Martin, to purchase 127 F-35 fighter jets worth about $7.8 billion.
