Odermatt, already winner the day before at the Olympia della Tofane, won with a time of 1 min 25 sec 13/100th, ahead of the Italian Dominik Paris, 2nd at 76/100th, and the Austrian Daniel Hemetsberger, 3rd at 1 sec 03/100th.

The best Frenchman, Alexis Pinturault, was ranked 6th, 1 sec 10/100th from Odermatt but only 7/100th from the podium.

"Odi", 25, took advantage of the disappointment of Kilde, who made a mistake on the main difficulty of the route, a long curve to the left followed by a tight turn to the right, which trapped many skiers.

The Swiss signed his eighth victory of the season, the fourth in super-G, and the 19th of his career.

He is now 148 points ahead of Kilde in the world ranking of the specialty while there are only two super-Gs left to play this season, a maximum of 200 points to pocket.

He also carried out an excellent operation in the general classification of the World Cup which he won last season: he totals 1,386 points, 313 points ahead of Kilde (2nd, 1,073 pts) and 607 more than another Norwegian, Henrik Kristoffersen, slalom and giant slalom specialist (3rd, 779 pts).

Nine days before the 2023 World Championships in Courchevel/Méribel, all the signals are green for Odermatt, who is leaving the Dolomnites as the undisputed world No.1 and reassured about the condition of his left knee which had forced him to do the stalemate on the two previous races.
