This Saturday, the newspaper "Le Parisien" announced that the government plans to reconsider the terms of technical control for two-wheelers: this should take place every five years, instead of every four years.

A measure that does not convince bikers, who want the total abolition of technical control.

The terms of the technical control of two-wheelers are changing once again.

The newspaper

Le Parisien

announced this Saturday morning that the government plans to reconsider the terms of the technical control.

From now on, there would be no first date after four years, but after five years.

"The postponement is not enough"

For Jean-Marc Belotti, coordinator of the Federation of angry bikers Paris and small crown, this is not at all enough.

"We are not happy about it insofar as we do not want the technical control at all. The technical control for motorized two-wheelers is not only totally useless, but it is a real extortion since it is 0.5% vehicles that have an accident because of their poor condition. So it's practically nothing at all", he denounces at the microphone of Europe 1.

"The classic argument of environmental associations is noise. It's a tiny minority that makes noise and the technical control will not change anything. You can very well go to the technical control with an approved pot and in fifteen minutes , you will be able to change your pot because on a motorcycle, it's very easy. For us, the postponement is absolutely not enough. What we are asking for is the abolition of technical control in France, which the state takes care of the roads and we will take care of the state of our motorcycles", he concludes at the microphone of Europe 1.

A demonstration is already planned for February 4.
