The Arab Parliament strongly condemns the burning of copies of the Holy Quran by extremists in the Danish capital

Today, Saturday, Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Assoumi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, condemned the burning of copies of the Holy Qur’an by extremists in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, in a systematic and repeated provocative step that inflames the feelings of Muslims around the world.

In a statement today, the Speaker of the Arab Parliament affirmed that the increasing anti-Islamic provocations and barbaric practices that have been repeated in a number of European capitals recently, aiming to destabilize security and stability and contradict human and moral values and principles, will only increase Muslims in faith and steadfastness and miss opportunities for the bets of extremist ideologies.

He renewed the Arab Parliament's permanent call for the importance of spreading the values of dialogue, tolerance and coexistence, renouncing hatred and extremism, and not prejudicing religions.
