Presidents of Azerbaijan and Israel discussed the attack on the embassy in Tehran

“During a telephone conversation, the President of Israel condemned the terrorist attack against the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran, expressed condolences over the death of the head of the security service of the embassy,” the statement said.

Aliyev also expressed condolences to his Israeli colleague and the families of the victims of the terrorist act in Jerusalem.

Earlier, an armed attack was made on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran.

It was also reported that Azerbaijan intends to evacuate the staff of the embassy in Tehran in the near future.
