In turn, he noted that the defense of Ukraine "will not save the decrepit Old World from retribution, if something happens." 

The politician also noted that if the third world war starts, it will be fought not on tanks and not on fighters.

“Then, for sure, everything is in ruins,” he summed up.

Earlier, Askanews quoted Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto as saying that it was necessary to continue supplying weapons to Ukraine to prevent a third world war.

According to the politician, it will begin if the Russian military reaches Kyiv and the borders of European countries.

On December 13, Italian Prime Minister George Meloni noted the importance of G7 unity on the issue of supporting Ukraine.
