“Deputy of the Transcarpathian Regional Council... Judyta Petei... posted a photo of a map of the Transcarpathian region, half of which is painted over in the colors of the Hungarian flag,” the publication says.

Later, the deputy deleted the post from social networks.

On December 27, it became known that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry was dissatisfied with the words of the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban that peace in Ukraine would come when the United States wanted it.

Kyiv, in response to this statement, accused the head of the Hungarian government of political myopia.

The representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oleg Nikolenko, said that the Hungarian ambassador to Ukraine would be summoned to the Foreign Ministry after Orban's statement about Ukraine.
