The speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed confidence that such a development of relations would not meet the interests of Russia and Moldova.

Earlier, former Moldovan President Igor Dodon said he did not believe that Moldova would become a member of the European Union, and expressed the opinion that the republic should cooperate with Moscow.
