The weather on Saturday: gray skies over three quarters of the country

The weather will be gray on Saturday over three quarters of the country, with intermittent snowfall which will continue in the Pyrenean foothills, according to Météo-France forecasts.

A few snowflakes will also affect the Center and Auvergne at times.

Overall the sky will remain very gray over three quarters of the country, from Grand-Est to Poitou-Charentes, from the foot of the Pyrenees to the plains of Rhône-Alpes.

Sunshine for the Mediterranean regions

Further west of the Pays de la Loire and Brittany at the gates of Paris and Hauts-de-France, we can hope for a few breaks in the afternoon among the clouds.

The Mediterranean regions, the Southern Alps will remain privileged from the point of view of sunshine.

Mistral and tramontane will blow more moderately.

The minimum temperatures will most often be between -1 and 2 degrees in the plain, with frosts which remain marked near the relief, in places: -6 to - 9 degrees in the Massif Central and the Alps.

By the sea, we will expect 0 to 5 degrees.

The maximum temperatures will generally peak between 2 and 4 degrees under the greyness.

5 to 8 degrees will be expected in the West, 7 to 13 around the Mediterranean.
