The memory of the Holocaust is recognized on Gotland

On Gotland, lectures are held on Friday evenings and music is played at the Almedal Library in Visby.

Kerstin Blomberg, former chairman of the Emerich Foundation, worked for a long time together with Holocaust survivor Emerich Roth, who returned several times to speak in Gotland's schools.

Every year, she also awards the Emerich Prize to someone or a few who work for humanity.
