This, according to RIA Novosti, the department said, commenting on the previous statement by German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock that European countries are "waging war against Russia."

“Support for Ukraine in exercising its individual right to self-defense… which is enshrined in the UN Charter, does not make Germany one of the parties to the conflict,” the German Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Earlier, the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, drew attention to the words of Burbock about the war of the West against Russia.

Also, German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock said that Germany would not interfere with the supply of Leopard 2 tanks to Kyiv from Warsaw.
