Russian Embassy: The absurdity of US sanctions becomes more obvious with each package

The next package of anti-Russian sanctions was announced on January 26, TASS reports.

“The Americans continue to click with their illegitimate sanctions threats,” the diplomatic department noted.

The embassy stressed that the inefficiency and absurdity of such an approach is becoming more and more obvious.

“Despite the restrictions, the Russian market remains attractive for foreign business, including for investors,” the report says.

Earlier, the embassy said that Russia is successfully resisting attempts to impose a line of behavior pleasing to the United States.

Also earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that US arms control was the cause of degradation in relations with Russia.
