He noted that Morgun is familiar with the specifics of the restoration of territories, acted as a crisis manager when he temporarily headed Yasinovataya.

“A new stage in the restoration of Mariupol has begun ... The change of the mayor is connected exclusively with a change in management approaches,” Pushilin said.

At the same time, the acting head of the DPR noted the great personal contribution of the ex-mayor of the city Konstantin Ivashchenko to the restoration of Mariupol.

Earlier, the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, appointed Oleg Morgun as the new mayor of Mariupol.
