Orban: Hungary will veto possible EU sanctions against Russia's nuclear power

According to TASS, the Hungarian prime minister said this on the air of the Kossuth radio station.

According to Orban, disputes are expected in the EU in connection with plans to impose sanctions against this industry of Russia in the EU.

However, he added, "the Hungarian government will veto" if the EU tries to impose such restrictions.

Earlier, Poland proposed new anti-Russian sanctions to the European Union, including restrictions in the field of nuclear energy.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto also confirmed that the country will not support any sanctions that limit cooperation with Russia in the field of nuclear energy.
