Lavrov expressed condolences over the death of an employee of the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry condemned this act, calling it unacceptable.

“Lavrov expressed his readiness to provide any assistance that the Azerbaijani side deems appropriate,” the message says.

Earlier, an armed attack was made on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran.

It was also reported that Azerbaijan intends to evacuate the staff of the embassy in Tehran in the near future.
