A police message on Twitter says that on the evening of January 27, a man opened fire on people in a synagogue in the Neve Yaakov area.
The police soon arrived at the scene and exchanged fire with the attacker, as a result of which he was "neutralized".
“As a result of the attack, seven people were killed and more people were injured,” police said.
Earlier, The Jerusalem Post reported that eight people were killed and ten injured in a shooting at a synagogue in Jerusalem.
According to her, the attacker was eliminated while trying to escape.
