Iranian Ambassador to Baku summoned to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry in connection with the attack on the embassy

This was reported in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

“On January 27, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Azerbaijan Seyyed Abbas Mousavi was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the terrorist attack against the embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the report says.

Mousavi condemned the attack and stressed that the incident is currently being investigated by Iranian law enforcement agencies.

Earlier, information appeared that an armed attack was committed on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran, as a result of the incident, the head of security was killed, and two more people were injured.

The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed hope that those responsible for the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran would be brought to justice.
