“This settlement, dating from the 2nd to 3rd century AD, is the oldest and most important city discovered on the east coast of Luxor,” the report says.

It is noted that during the excavations, the ruins of residential buildings, two towers for postal birds, as well as pots, tools and coins were found.

Earlier, Kurgan archaeologists discovered a Stone Age settlement during the excavations of Isetskoye-3.

It was also reported that Sevastopol archaeologists created a digital model of the excavation.
