At least five Israelis have been killed and eight others have been wounded, some critically, in an armed attack by a Palestinian on a synagogue on the outskirts of Jerusalem.
The attack, one of the most serious in recent years in Israel, has broken this Friday night at the beginning of
Shabbat
the calm that had dominated the day after the exchange of missiles and projectiles between Israel and the Gaza factions during the past early morning and the Israeli military incursion against Islamic Jihad in the Jenin refugee camp last Thursday.
